Every morning at 8 AM Pacific Time, our automated system visits the full online menu of every dispensary we track in Las Vegas. We pull the current price of every product, compare it against the product's regular retail price, and calculate the real discount. Products that aren't actually discounted — or where the "sale" price is suspiciously close to retail — get filtered out automatically.

The remaining deals go through our scoring algorithm, which evaluates each one on discount depth, unit value (price per gram or per piece), brand reputation, and category-specific price benchmarks. A $20 eighth of premium flower scores differently than a $20 eighth of budget shake — because the value proposition is different. Only deals that pass our quality threshold make it onto the site, and they're ranked by score so the best deals are always at the top.

This process runs every single day, 365 days a year. No manual curation, no dispensary submissions, no pay-to-play. The system is fully automated, and every deal you see earned its placement through the algorithm. When a deal expires or a dispensary changes its specials, our next morning scan catches the update and the feed refreshes automatically.

Not every discount is a deal. A 10% markdown on an overpriced product is still an overpriced product. Our scoring system accounts for this by evaluating deals against category-wide price benchmarks — what the same type of product actually costs across the valley, not just what one dispensary claims is the "regular" price.

Deals on CloudedDeals are tagged with badges based on their score. A STEAL (score 85+) means this is an exceptional value — significantly below market rate for the product category. A FIRE deal (70-84) is well above average and worth buying. A SOLID deal (50-69) is a genuine saving that beats everyday pricing. Anything below 50 doesn't appear on the site at all.

We also factor in brand tier. A 30% discount on a premium brand like Cookies or Connected is more noteworthy than the same percentage off a budget house brand — because the baseline quality and typical pricing are different. This means the deals you see reflect genuine value, not just the deepest percentage-off number regardless of what's being sold.

CloudedDeals currently tracks 27+ licensed dispensaries across the entire Las Vegas valley. Our coverage is organized into three zones: Strip (dispensaries within a short rideshare of major hotels), Downtown (Fremont Street and Arts District locations), and Local (off-strip shops in Henderson, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, and the central valley).

We cover every major product category: flower (eighths through ounces), vape cartridges and disposables, edibles (gummies, chocolates, beverages), concentrates (wax, shatter, live resin, rosin), and pre-rolls (singles, packs, and infused). Each category has its own price benchmarks and scoring thresholds calibrated to Las Vegas market pricing.

If a Las Vegas dispensary runs daily specials and publishes an online menu, we're likely tracking it — and if we're not, we're working on adding it.

CloudedDeals does not accept sponsored placements, paid features, or advertising revenue from dispensaries. This is not a temporary policy — it is a foundational principle. The moment a deal platform takes money from the businesses it's supposed to evaluate, the incentive structure breaks. We will never put a dispensary's deal at the top because they paid for it.

Our data comes directly from dispensary menus — the same prices any customer would see if they visited the dispensary's website. We do not modify prices, inflate discounts, or present misleading comparisons. If a dispensary shows a sale price on their menu, that's the price we report. If they remove the sale, our next scan removes the deal from CloudedDeals.
